NYPD Two pairs of Maserati bandits still on the loose

Two pairs of bandits wanted for Maserati heists in Manhattan and Queens this week were still on the lam as investigators tried to determine if the thefts were crimes of opportunity or something larger, sources said.

The black 2011 Quattroporte taken Tuesday from an off-duty correction officer at gunpoint in Hollis, Queens, does not appear to be linked to the theft of a Maserati in Times Square early Sunday, the sources said.

Maurice Jones was at his luxury car service at Jamaica and 93rd Aves. when two men, one with a gun, demanded the keys to his $130,000 ride, sources said. They ditched the car and fled after a police chase.

The carjacking happened just days after two thieves stole a 2008 Gran Turismo from Chadwick Lange, 43, on W. 47th St.
