Exposed: Seconds after NBC cut to an underwater camera during the U.S. versus Spain water polo match, an American exposed another player's breast
Water polo can be a rough sport, with athletes lunging through the water for control of the ball. And sometimes, lycra swimsuits get pulled and breasts are exposed.
Such was the case Wednesday during the Olympic match between Spain and the U.S. A player’s suit was pulled to the side and her bare breast was broadcast live, via NBC’s underwater camera.
The network has taken criticism during the Olympic Games for failing to live broadcast key events, like the opening ceremony.
But, as Deadspin reports, Wednesday’s breast-baring incident might prompt the network to “decide to end the practice entirely and go all-tape delay.”
