Police find Michelle Parker’s iPhone

Michelle Parker appeared on an episode of 'The People's Court' which aired day she disappeared.

Missing mom from ‘People’s Court’ vanished Nov. 17
Orlando police say they found the iPhone belonging to missing mom Michelle Parker, but will not reveal where or how it was discovered.

The woman’s family were asked to identify the device which had a black, white and pink cover and detectives are now examining it for clues which may help reveal what happened to the 33-year-old.

“We were out on a search, literally I was out in the woods and up in a tree trying to get an aerial view on things, when we got a phone call [from police\]," Parker’s sister, Laurie Erickson told MyFoxOrlando.com.

Investigators asked the family to come to the precinct to identify the iPhone 4 but they were able to confirm it was hers by simply looking at a photograph.

"It's her phone. It's in the case that she had," Erickson added.

Police said the phone was in good condition and released two photographs: one of the recovered device itself and another Parker took of herself holding it before she vanished.

"It’s the biggest break ever, and my heart is joyful," Stewart told the Orlando Sentinel.

"It’s one of the biggest breaks we could have in the case so far, other than seeing her smiling face walk through the door.”

Parker, from Geneva, Fla., disappeared Nov. 17 after dropping her 3-year-old twins at the home of her ex-fiance, Dale Smith II., who is also the children’s father.

The same day she went missing an episode of “The People’s Court” aired on television featuring the couple arguing about her missing engagement ring.

The program was filmed in June.

Orlando Police say Smith, 40, is the prime suspect in the missing person case and his home has been searched but he has not been charged.

His parents have both been questioned by detectives and the children are in the care of Parker’s mother, after authorities revoked custody from their father.

Police have also searched Smith’s parents’ home and bodies of water in Orange County.

She was last seen wearing jeans, a Florida Gators hooded sweat shirt and a silver cross necklace.
