The patrol car drove onto a tension wire in Miami


A moment of distraction while driving can be the difference between life and death.

Thankfully a recent Miami accident resulted in a damaged car and quite a few laughs.

A police officer was driving his patrol car early Tuesday morning when he was distracted and drove his car up a telephone pole.

The officer, whose name has not been released, somehow managed to accidentally drive onto a telephone wire.

Police detective Willie Moreno told CBS Miami that the patrol car 'rode on to the tension rod of this pole' and not the pole itself.
