Wind Knocks Over Amusement Bouncer, 3 Girls Hurt: MyFoxNY.com

NEW SQUARE - Three girls - ages 3, 4 and 6 - were taken to Westchester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after an inflatable children's ride flipped over on Washington Avenue.

The ride was part of a carnival in the parking lot outside a building housing Head Start and Yeshiva Avir Yaakov near the village's entrance off Route 45.

The children were bouncing on the ride when the wind may have lifted it off the ground.

The 3-year-old has a head injury.

The carnival was part of the Passover celebration in the Hasidic Jewish village.

There are no signs of negligence, police Chief Peter Brower said at the scene.
