Billionaire Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has become a dad for the seventh time.
The Russian’s socialite girlfriend Dasha Zhukova, 31, has given birth to their daughter Leah Lou.
Abramovich already has son Aaron, three, with Dasha and two sons and three daughters with his former wife Irina.
An insider said he was at Dasha’s bedside when the new baby arrived. They added: “Mother and daughter are doing fine. Roman is, of course, delighted.”
Sources close to the 46-year-old businessman confirmed Dasha had Leah Lou in New York last week. His 533ft private yacht Eclipse has been docked in mid-town Manhattan for two months.
Abramovich, who has been married and divorced twice, met Russian socialite Dasha at a New Year’s Eve party.
She was photographed showing off her baby bump on the Caribbean island of St Barts in January. The former model grew up in the US and Leah Lou’s birth means both her children have come into the world there. Aaron was born in Los Angeles.
Dasha heads the Iris Foundation, which funds a culture centre in Moscow, edits a magazine and is boss of a fashion label.
Abramovich divorced second wife Irina in 2007 after 16 years of marriage. She received a record settlement said to be at least £1billion and now lives with children Ilya, Arina, Sofia, Arkadiy and Anna on an £18million West Sussex estate.
He reportedly boosted his army of security staff to 40 people in 2007 – making him one of the best-protected businessmen in the world.
The latest addition to his clan came just weeks after the death of Russian billionaire rival Boris Berezovsky, 67, who sued him for £3.7billion last year and lost.
