Orthodox Jewish man is in critical condition after being stabbed numerous times in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn, New York, according to press reports in Israel.
The man was stabbed several times all over his body, despite driving in the heavily ultra-Orthodox Jewish neighborhood.
The incident occurred around 1:00 am, at the intersection of Quentin Road and McDonald Avenue. According to the initial investigation, the suspect was standing at the crosswalk.
The driver was stopped at the red light when the suspect approached the car. The driver opened the window, and the attacker stabbed him brutally several times all over his body in front of his horrified wife.
A passerby called police, while Hatzolah of Borough Park volunteer team took the wounded man to Lutheran Hospital where he was listed as in critical but stable condition.
Police and the Borough Park Shomrim Patrol volunteers began a searching for the perpetrator.
