Mount Kisco, NY - Police Search for Home Invasion Robbers


Mount Kisco, NY - New York State Police are on the scene searching for a white van that was involved in a home invasion In Mount Kisco, Nitra community, the vehicle was occupied by 2 black males who fled the scene.

Female victim was tied up and assaulted taken to Northern Westchester Hospital.

New Castle police and WCPD Aviation also responding for the search, vehicle was marked “Post Office”.

Robert Kalisch, a resident of the yeshiva, recounted information of the report that he heard from his neighbors. He said that people entered and tied up residents in what he described as a two-family home. He also said that a woman who lives on the bottom floor was able to escape and contact police and neighbors. However, he also said that he has not spoken with the residents of the house.

The New Castle Police Department has sent out a press release stating that around 3:08 p.m. Tuesday, a resident of the home on Yeshiva Road answered the door and encountered a man saying that he had a package for her. Police said that this man attacked the woman, then tied both her feet and hands. After that, another man entered the house, and the two alleged intruders attacked two other woman in the house, also tying their hands and feet. One of the woman, as the neighbor noted, was able to get free and made a call for help. The two alleged attackers then fled, police stated. In the notice, police said that it is not known if any items were taken.

The Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps gave treatment to one of the residents, according to police, and was released with minor injuries sustained. The Westchester County police also provided assistance.

Police are looking for a white van spotted in connection with the matter.
