2 men shot dead in Kennedy Airport hotel

Two men were shot to death in the lobby of a Queens hotel Thursday in what appeared to be a murder-suicide, police sources said.

The bloodshed began after an argument erupted in a group of six men in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn near Kennedy Airport about 12:30 p.m., sources said.

One man pulled out a gun,

shot another in the head, and then turned the pistol on himself, sources said. The rest of the group scattered from the lobby as the bullets flew, sources said.

Hotel security held the four men until police arrived, sources said.

Cops found the two dead men lying in a pool of blood, sources said. A gun was recovered at the scene.

“A group of men met inside the meeting room lobby,” said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown. “One man shot another. The other four men left and were brought into custody by the police.”

Detectives were questioning the men to sort out what sparked the shooting.
