Working for Anna Gristina was one of the best jobs a girl could have

A high-end hooker who says she worked for Anna Gristina says men paid her $1,000 an hour for sex. Threesomes cost $2,000.

It was the best job a woman in Manhattan could have, that is if you don’t mind sleeping with strangers and participating in an occasional threesome.

Rich men paid $1,000 an hour to have sex with me at fancy hotels and an upper East Side flat. I split half the money with my boss, Anna Gristina, the 44-year-old woman the newspapers now notoriously call the Soccer Mom Madam.

I didn’t need to be a hooker. I graduated from a major university but wanted to work as a call girl in Manhattan because of the money I knew I could make and because it’s nicer than working all day, every day.

I found Anna. She didn’t find me. I did an Internet search and found her. She had some kind of website set up, and there was a section there for recruiting models. I filled out a little form that asked questions about my body’s measurements.

I’m tall with a flat stomach, dark brown shoulder-length hair and long, ebony eyelashes.

Anna contacted me right away and we met at a restaurant. She seemed okay but talked a lot about nothing in particular.

I began working for her a short time later, and that was one of the only times I met her.

Life was good until Anna got indicted Feb. 22, charged with running a $10 million brothel.

I worked for Anna for about a year and mainly communicated with her by phone. Usually, Anna texted me when she had a client she wanted me to meet.

She got most of the clients by word of mouth through a network she developed. Often she would send a text message and say, “Are you around?”

Sometimes it was to book me to see a client in a few days. Other times, she needed me to get there as fast as I could. I would usually grab a taxi.

The johns with the most money liked to meet with me for sex at hotels. One took me to the five-star St. Regis in midtown Manhattan.

I would dress in professional business suits or jeans and a nice tank top during the day, or a little, black $1,700 cocktail dress with beautiful 5-inch heels and maybe fishnets at night.

The men weren’t promised “whatever they wanted” for $1,000. That implies that you’re giving up control. There’s an understanding that we’d do basic, normal things.

Sometimes the clients wanted a threesome. That’s part of the job. Plus, that would cost them $2,000.

I know threesomes make some women blush, but a lot of men want them. I’d talk to the other girl after, but it’s not like we’d talk about our feelings about being hookers. We didn’t grab a coffee together.

The life wasn’t all glamorous. It makes me laugh to hear Anna’s upper East Side brothel described as some sort of pleasure palace.

All the girls who worked for Anna’s empire had a key to a spartan E. 78th St. crash pad.

It was clean enough, but the furniture was cheap, and there were no pictures on the walls.

It wasn’t gross, but I wouldn’t want to live there.

When I was done with the job, I would leave Anna’s half of the money in a safe in the apartment.

Sometimes, I was busy and I saw two men in a day. Other times, I could go a few weeks without having a client from Anna.

It certainly wasn’t like a consistent thing where it’s like every other day or once a week. You’re really busy for a week and then nothing’s going on.

Anna’s johns paid $1,000 to be with me, but I only got $500 of that. I had to work for other escort services at the same time to afford to live in Manhattan.

Anna’s clients weren’t really that great. I know that’s the kind of thing that’s been in the papers. These black cars pulling up.

I’m sure she had some people who were the top clients and would be interesting. But most of them were not that great. They were just regular guys who had to go to work.

‘Never felt I was in danger’

All of the escort services were different. But they all wanted to meet you before giving you clients. A girl could provide them with a picture that’s 10 years old when they were 10 pounds lighter.

One time, a woman who met with me was appalled that I wasn’t wearing any lipstick, so she didn’t hire me. I was like, “Nobody wears lipstick anymore.”

The men who paid me for sex ranged from young, handsome guys to older men. And they held all different kinds of jobs: finance, real estate, banking and other professional fields. I assumed some of them were married.

Obviously, they were people who had enough money to spend on that kind of recreation, but they weren’t superwealthy. Most of them just wanted an hour or two.

I’m not saying they were poor or working-class guys, but they weren’t high-powered executives — not that I knew of anyway.

I liked the job.

I never felt I was in danger or as if I was being used. In fact, I can’t remember a time when I was in peril — and there was never a discussion on what to do if I did.

The money was good, and it allowed me to live comfortably in Manhattan.

I know people have this thing where they imagine that it’s horrible. But people are generally nice. They’re appreciative that you’re there, you know, respectful.

Clients weren’t taking me to fancy dinners or on jetliners. I can’t say I was ever wined and dined.

Usually, we engaged in small talk for 15 or 20 minutes, just normal conversation like you would have with anyone: What do you do? Where are you from? The weather.

There’s definitely kissing, foreplay. Girlfriend-type stuff. I don’t know of any hookers who don’t kiss. Usually, I’d initiate the sex.

After one time with me, some men would ask to see me a second or third time.

I never recognized any of them as being well-known politicians or titans of industry, but that doesn’t mean that they weren’t.

Anna never wanted to be in the city and seemed more comfortable running things from her house in upstate Monroe. She’s interested in her animals and her pet pigs, her family, her four children. She didn’t really like to have to come to the city.

I didn’t think she was really a very big deal, but I guess she was given some of the people she associated with, people who are coming out now.

Detectives searched the offices of high-profile Manhattan lawyer David Jaroslawicz on Friday in connection with the case.

Another big surprise to come out of the investigation was Jaynie Mae Baker. I knew of her, but I never met the alleged matchmaker and I didn’t know her as being particularly involved with Anna’s business. The texts and occasional calls always came from Anna.

Paid ‘ to take your clothes off’

When I talked to the other girls, we’d usually just discuss normal things like, “I like you’re shoes” or “Where did you get that dress?”

We had to buy our own clothes, but it’s great to make enough money to buy Dolce & Gabbana dresses and Christian Louboutin shoes. But men aren’t really paying you to make a fashion statement; they’re paying you to take your clothes off.

I never fell in love with any of my clients, and I preferred the ones who weren’t good looking.

For me, it makes it more uncomfortable when they’re handsome. They always make me feel like a little girl or something. It changes the balance of power. It kind of just throws you off your game.

It breaks my heart that Anna is in prison. She was only introducing consenting adults to each other.

Since her ring has been broken up, I’ve quit the business. But, like I said in the beginning, it was the best job a girl in Manhattan could have.
