'Victim': Cecily McMillan, a student and nanny, reportedly suffered a seizure after she was allegedly violently arrested by NYPD
Injured: A woman, believed to be McMillan, is carried into an ambulance. She was one of scores arrested when police forced protestors out of Zuccotti Park on Saturday night
An Occupy Wall Street protestor has reportedly suffered a seizure after she was allegedly violently knocked to the ground and arrested by police at Zuccotti Park.
On a video uploaded to YouTube, Cecily McMillan, leader of a Northeast Democratic Socialists group, appears to have difficulty breathing after she is cuffed by police and left lying on the ground.
The former cheerleader, who studies and works as a nanny in New York, is then seen shaking violently as protestors, who have been penned in by police, scream for authorities to help her.
Police are seen carrying McMillan after the seizure. Enraged activists yell, 'That's not what you do to someone with a seizure!' and 'do not touch her head or neck!'
She eventually regains consciousness before pulling herself to her knees and dry heaving. Emergency services arrive around 15 minutes after she first collapsed, witnesses claimed.
But another video, apparently taken before the seizure, appears to show a girl elbow an officer in the head before attempting to run away.
