Alleged accomplice of Manhattan 'madam' indicted,

Suspect: Jaynie Mae Baker, 30, is wanted by police for questioning as they believe she may have been involved in the prostitution ring

She's beautiful and also on the lam.

Accused millionaire madam Anna Gristina had an alleged partner in crime - gorgeous strawberry-blonde Jaynie Baker, who three sources told The Post today is Gristina's indicted but unapprehended accomplice.

She was running the operation with Anna," said one source with knowledge of the operation. Asked where Baker, 30, of Brooklyn, is currently, the source answered, "Nobody knows."

Baker and Gristina are both charged with felony promoting prostitution for allegedly co-running an Upper East Side-based escort service that offered premium call girls to a millionaire clientele.

This was the gold standard of escort services," said a second source with knowledge of the operation. "These were high-end models who cost $2,000 a visit, and were worth every penny."

Prosecutors say that the alleged escort service was a hotbed -- of official corruption and scofflaw wealthy clients.

In a hearing in Manhattan Supreme Court today, lead prosecutor Charles Linehan repeated explosive allegations that Gristina boasted in wiretaps of having a cadre of privileged protectors.

“There are certain high wealth individuals, friends and business associates who have an interest in not having this case move forward and would help her flee,” Assistant DA Charles Linehan.

Earlier today, Gristina -- a mother of four children ranging from 24 down to 9 -- appeared in court, dressed like an ordinary soccer mom ready for an important PTA meeting. She sported a conservative chin-length hair, a herringbone-pattern knit jacket and wire-frame glasses.

She looked crestfallen after Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, ceded to prosecutors' arguments that she was a flight risk and ruled against a request by her lawyers, Richard Siracusa and Peter Gleeson, to have bail reduced from the currently unattainable $2 million.

There's no way she will make that amount, said her husband of ten years, real estate broker Kelvin Gorr, who lives with Gristina on a 200-acre Sullivan County farm.

Whatever they are charging her with, there has never been any violence, never any drugs, and never any underage girls," he insisted. "I think they're using her to get to bigger fish," he said, meaning her alleged police 'protectors.'

Only I think they're going to find there's no truth to any of that," he said, referring to the DA's allegations that Gristina is on tape boasting that her cop friends would alert her to any impending arrests or raids.

"It was hard," the husband added, "watching my wife sit there. She does not belong there."
