Synagogue in J'lem set alight in suspected arson attack

A synagogue in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramot Bet was set alight on Sunday in a case of suspected arson.

An initial police investigation found that a flammable liquid had been poured at three separate spots at the Hanichei Hayeshivot study hall and then set on fire.

A student studying at the institute entered the burning building and helped fight the flames until firefighters arrived at the scene. No-one was injured in the incident.
