NYPD Sergeant tipped Manhattan 'madam's' about busts

Anna Gristina, 44

An NYPD sergeant was grilled by Internal Affairs investigators Wednesday over his possible ties to millionaire madam Anna Gristina, sources said.

The 12-year vet was called in for questioning because he had been spotted numerous times hanging out near Gristina’s purported brothel on E. 78th St.

“He flat out denies this,” a source close to the sergeant told the Daily News.

“The first time he heard any of this was when he read the papers today. He doesn't know any of these people and I don't think he's in any hot water whatsoever.”

Gristina, a 44-year-old mother of four from Orange County, has been charged with running a $10 million hooker ring.

Gristina had been caught on wiretaps, bragging about her law enforecement contacts.

She’s being held at Riker’s Island on $2 million bail.
