A pretty woman in her 20s, who is suspected of stealing a wallet and then relieving $2,000 from her victim's bank account, continues to elude New York Police.
Now the cute criminal is thought to have snatched another wallet in the city before taking her ill-gotten gains to an ATM, and was again caught on camera withdrawing stolen cash.
The glamorous thief, who sports chic glasses, is suspected of helping herself to a woman's wallet from a Key Food store in Manhattan's East Village on January 31.
The woman then took the stolen ATM card to a Bank of America and made some withdrawals, according to the New York Post.
In November she also confidently strutted into branch of Chase and took $2,000 from her victim's account.
The wallet snatcher is wanted for grand larceny and the NYPD are looking for help.
The first victim, a 27-year-old white female, realized her wallet was missing on the evening of November 17 at the Borough Hall subway station in Brooklyn.
Two days later, surveillance cameras in the Chase Bank at 8th Ave. and W. 15 Street captured footage of the dark-haired white female, 25-30, posing as the victim and withdrawing the large sum of cash from her account.
The con-woman’s antics recall the 1990 movie The Grifters which followed the exploits of three grifters - confidence tricksters with no moral scruples - doing whatever it takes to make some money.
NYPD officials have released images of the criminal and are seeking the help of anyone who can help identify and locate her. She is estimated to be 5-foot-3-inches tall and weighs 110 to 125 pounds.
Anyone with information about the incident should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
