The richest female Israeli Rebbetzin was arrested, according to kikarhashabat reports.

Rebbetzin Bruriah Zevuluni, the sister of Rabbi Yaakov Ifergan, was questioned on Friday on suspicion of obstructing an investigation. Specifically, she is accused obstructing the investigation into the extortion case of mafia Rabbi Yoram Abergel.

According to police, Rebbetzin Bruriah Zevuluni was detained when she returned from a trip to Russia. After questioning, she was released to house arrest for five days. She was also banned from the city of Jerusalem and Netivot.

Sources close to the investigation said that the female Rebbetzin is forbidden to leave her hotel room.
