Danny Biton, father of singer Eyal Golan, was released
Wednesday to house arrest for 12 days and forbidden to leave the country, as
was Tsahi Asulin, who worked for Golan’s production company.
Both Biton and Asulin are suspected of exploiting the
vocalist’s celebrity to have sex with underage girls, and are facing
allegations of statutory rape, inducing a minor to use drugs and procuring
minors.
Tel Aviv police believe that based on the evidence, the two
can and should be indicted.
Golan himself was questioned by extensively by police, but
the extent of his involvement in the alleged crimes is not clear and he will
probably not be charged.
