Chatham, Ontario - Children’s Services in Chatham say they
are not tied to a wanted flyer directed at the head of the ultra-Orthodox
Jewish group Lev Tahor that now live in Chatham.
Blackburn News reports that the
flyer distributed in Chatham requests the public to contact children’s services
if they see any member of Lev Tahor.
The flyer includes a photo and description of Rabbi Shlomo
Helbrens’ alleged actions and copies of it have been left in community members’
mailboxes.
Stephen Doig, Interim Executive Director of children’s
services, says the agency is cooperating with Quebec authorities in their
investigation.
