MONSEY — A 2-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after
being hit by a car Sunday night on Albert Drive, Ramapo police said.
At about 8:30 p.m., the boy ran from his home on Albert
Drive into the road and was hit by a 2011 Toyota Camry. He suffered minor
injuries to his face and ran home, police said.
EMS officials treated the boy on the scene then took him by
ambulance to Westchester Medical Center for further treatment .
The driver, who remained on the scene, has not been cited.
Police did not have further details Monday morning on the accident, which
remains under investigation.
