A Jewish man is angry after his manager made a series of
extremely offensive and racist comments, according to a new lawsuit filed in
the United Kingdom.
The worker said that his boss said he wanted to lock up
“Yids” and wore obscene shirts mocking Jewish soccer fans.
Darren Feldman, 33, said that manager Chris Oates mocked him
after he invited him to JuJu, a champagne bar in London's King's Road.
Oates allegedly spoke of mocking Jewish Tottenham fans by
running past their club at White Hart Lane stadium wearing a top with the
slogan "IVOR 4 SKIN” printed on the back.
In his statement, Feldman, who is Jewish, said that in his
boss’ birthday, the two discussed making a potential business deal with Daniel
Sugar, an Apprentice star, and son of former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar.
Oates is alleged to have said: “I'm playing around. Frankly
they're all Yids. I like to lock them all in the building and gas them all.”
Feldman was a 47,500 pound per year construction project
manager for private hospital group HCA International.
He is suing the company at The Central London Employment
Tribunal for racial and religious discrimination, harassment and constructive
dismissal.
U.S. company HCA is the world’s largest private hospital
group.
