Gov. Cuomo isn’t the only state leader who avoids emailing: State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver says he rarely uses electronic communications.
“I don’t use email at all,” Silver told me late last week.
“I may get an email occasionally that says ‘Call the office.’ Or if I get an email, I just reply that 'I’ll call you back.’”
The speaker says he is leery about opening himself up to the question of what emails should be made public and which shouldn’t.
The Daily News reported Monday that Cuomo refuses to use email.
Instead, he instructs his inner circle to use PIN-to-PIN messaging, which leaves no trail once deleted.
