Head of haredi foundation suspected of rape


Jerusalem police arrest three men suspected of raping, sexually assaulting woman who turned to them for financial aid

The head of a haredi foundation is suspected of raping and sexually assaulting a woman who turned to him for financial aid. The man is one of several suspects in a serious rape case investigated by the Jerusalem police.

On Sunday, police detained for questioning three Jerusalem residents suspected of raping and sexually assaulting a young woman who asked them for financial aid. It is also suspected that one of the suspects molested several minors.

According to the police, one of the suspects serves as the head of several foundations and yeshivot in the capital. The three suspects will be brought for a remand hearing at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court later on Monday.
