Jerusalem - Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that it is “hard to believe a human could write such a thing,” reacting to the defacement of parts of the Yad Vashem Museum earlier Monday.
The anti-Semetic graffiti found at Yad Vashem has aroused condemnation across the spectrum and in the strongest possible terms.
The prime minister’s statement was the latest in a series of statements by officials, and was notable in that he made sure to make a public statement even though he was hobbled in a cast and preoccupied most of the day by a soccer injury that he suffered earlier Monday.
