The Canadian cannibal who allegedly devoured his lover gave up silently — and like a lamb — to German police.

“He did not put up any resistance,” Berlin police spokeswoman Kertin Ziesmer said Monday.

Luka Magnotta was nabbed near an Internet cafe in the edgy Neukoelln neighborhood after patrons recognized the 29-year-old porn actor, who was the subject of an international manhunt.

The vain villain had been looking up web stories about himself when cops — guns bared — burst inside and quickly pinned the surprised suspect to the floor.

Wanted for torturing, killing, violating, dismembering and finally eating a Chinese engineering student, Magnotta was taken to a Berlin prison where he was being questioned.

He was expected to make a court appearance on Tuesday.

Born Eric Clinton Newman, Magnotta is accused of videotaping the slaughter of his 33-year-old lover, Lin Jun, while a song from “American Psycho” played in the background on May 24 or 25.

In the gruesome, 11-minute video that Magnotta posted online, he allegedly stabbed Lin with an ice pick while the victim lay naked and tied up.

Magnotta then allegedly reveals that he has slashed the other man’s throat before dismembering and defiling the corpse.

It remains unclear why Magnotta allegedly turned on his boyfriend, but police said that whatever he didn’t eat he mailed to Canadian politicians.

He mailed a foot to the country’s Conservative Party. He sent a hand to the Liberal Party’s headquarters.

The body parts were discovered May 29, the same day a torso in a suitcase was discovered in an alley near Magnotta’s Montreal apartment.

Magnotta vowed he would kill again before he fled Cananda and was tracked to Paris via his cell phone. He managed to stay a day ahead of the police as he hooked up with several men at hotels in the 17th arrondissement.

Obsessed with becoming infamous, the blue-eyed barbarian, who performed in both gay and straight porn movies, once appalled animal lovers by posting videos of himself killing kittens with a vacuum cleaner and feeling a live kitty to a python.

Britain’s Sun newspaper claimed it interviewed Magnotta about the animal torture six months earlier and that he’d warned them in an email: “I’ll be back — and this time the victims won’t be animals.”
