Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child with housekeeper skipped out on middle school graduation

The 13-year-old love child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and his family's maid, Mildred Baena, skipped out on his middle school graduation ceremony on Friday.

Although his name was on the event program, the eighth-grader didn't attend because his family desperately wants to protect him from the media, TMZ reports.

In fact, Baena, 50, pulled the boy from California's Bakersfield Middle School last month shortly after the scandal broke because photographers began camping out in front in the hopes of nabbing the first current snapshot.

Baena and her son have not been seen publicly since the news broke in mid-May that Schwarzenegger fathered a child with his family's longtime maid while married to Maria Shriver.

The shocking story came to light just one week after Schwarzenegger and Shriver announced they were separating after 25 years of marriage.

The boy's paternity was such a well-kept secret, many in Baena's family didn't know who his father was. Although her ex-husband Rolgelio Baena was listed on the birth certificate, when she filed for divorce in February 2008, she revealed he was in fact not the father.

Schwarzenegger and Baena's son was born just five days after the birth of the former Governor's fourth child with Shriver, Christopher.

Although the boy never knew the action star was his dad, he was obsessed with his movie "Terminator 2."

Baena's nephew Jorge Pena tells London's Daily Mail: "He used to watch (the film) all the time... (He) would idolize Arnold. We all idolized him."

Shriver has since hired powerhouse divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Schwarzenegger, meanwhile, has tapped A-list lawyer Bob Kaufman, who helped Bob Dylan, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Harrison Ford, Janet Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley through their high-profile splits.

Still, neither side has pulled the trigger on a divorce filing.

  1. Absolutely let the child remain anonimous at best, but allow the mother the noteriety with every media outlet, which reports your last bowel movement, somewhat hapless in my thought process
