NEW YORK — Straphangers watched in horror as a fight broke out in the subway -- over a seat.
Cell phone video uploaded Sunday shows riders on the platform watching helplessly through closed doors as one man pummeled another man in the face and back. Two people on the train tried to break up the brawl as the doors stayed closed with the train immobile for several minutes.
