Huma Abedin with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Mother-to-be Huma Abedin was spotted Thursday in Abu Dhabi - thousands of miles away from the sexting scandal engulfing the cad congressman who is her husband, Anthony Weiner.
The stunning brunette appeared cheerful as she accompanied her boss and close friend, Secretary of State Clinton, on a diplomatic mission to the Gulf State.
Abedin showed only the barest of baby bumps as she smiled and shook hands with a crown prince and other dignitaries before the talks began at the swanky Emirates Palace Hotel.
And if her heart was breaking, it wasn't visible on her comely face.
Word of Abedin's pregnancy landed with a thud among her friends when it was first revealed Wednesday - just hours after a photograph of Weiner's wiener hit the web.
"I was hoping it wasn't true," a pal who worked alongside Abedin on Clinton's failed 2008 presidential campaign.
Two days earlier a tearful Weiner admitted to talking dirty and sending lewd pictures of himself to a half dozen women he found on the web.
Abedin, 35, was not by Weiner's side when he made the humiliating admission of virtual adultery. He insisted they were not breaking up.
Meanwhile, Abedin took off with Clinton for a week-long diplomatic jaunt that will include meetings with Libyans in the United Arab Emirates and stops in Zambia, Tanzania and Ethiopia.
Weiner, 46, and Abedin, who mark their first wedding anniversary next month, put their two-bedroom, 850-square foot Forest Hills, Queens apartment on the market for $449,000 in March.
They made the move, presumably, because they might need more space in the future.
It remains to be seen whether Abedin and Weiner wind up living at different addresses
