Los Angeles prosecutors charged actress and model Estella Warren with driving under the influence, hit-and-run, battery on a police officer and resisting a police officer during a May incident in which she allegedly hit a police officer and tried to flee the police station.
Warren, 32, allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test when she was arrested in May after striking several cars in West Los Angeles with her Toyota Prius.
The “Planet of the Apes” actress was described by LAPD officials as highly uncooperative, belligerent and allegedly hit one officer in the face after she was detained.
Once at the police station, Warren allegedly slipped out of her handcuffs and attempted to run from the police station. Warren was convicted of DUI in 2007.
She is scheduled to be arraigned on June 17 at the Metropolitan Branch of Los Angeles County Superior Court.
