Lindsay Lohan arrest: Surveillance video supports chef’s claim he was hit-run victim

The NYPD has released security camera video connected to the case of Lindsay Lohan's arrest.

The troubled actress was busted arrested in lower Manhattan early Wednesday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

The video shows Lohan's Porsche Cayenne SUV pulling into the driveway of the Dream Downtown hotel on West 16th St., police said. The video does not appear to definitely show whether the SUV hit anyone.

A man who works at a restaurant near the hotel claimed that the actress clipped him in the knee, the NYPD said.

The SUV was moving very slowly, police said. The video shows several people standing on the sidewalk in front of the entraince to a parking area.

After parking, Lohan went inside the hotel for some time. When she came back out, police officers arrested her.

The NYPD released Lohan with a desk appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 23.

The man who said Lohan hit him was treated at Bellevue Hospital.

Lohan's publicist, Steve Honig, said the incident appears to be "much ado about nothing" and that his client will be cleared, the AP reported.
