Borough Park - 3 Alarm Fire in Brooklyn Under Control
A 3-alarm fire ripped through a Brooklyn house this morning, authorities said.
The blaze broke out at 6:23 a.m. in a 3-story house on 42nd Street near New Utrecht Avenue in Borough Park, the FDNY said.
The flames quickly spread and engulfed the entire house, officials said.
It took nearly two hours of battling the blaze before firefighters were able to place it under control at 8:25 a.m., the FDNY said.
There were four firefighters who suffered minor injuries as well as one civilian with minor injuries, the FDNY said.
