Menashe Shemaison z”l, 16, a resident of Yerushalayim,was struck and killed by an Egged bus in Bnei Brak on Sunday. The fatal incident occurred in the Gan Warsaw area of the city.
The 402 bus was heading towards Yerushalayim at 19:18 when it struck the teenager, who was gravely injured. First responders were on the scene in a number of minutes, realizing the severity of the situation immediately. CPR was started, but despite all efforts a physician on the scene was compelled to pronounce him DOA R”L.
Friends describe the niftar as a happy neshama, a resident of Shmuel HaNavi, who learned a half day in Yeshivat Nachalim and worked the other half to earn a living.
Zaka arrived on the scene to take care of the niftar and the body was transported to the Abu Kabir Forensic Center. The levaya was held at 12:30am in Shamgar, and kvura was in Har Menuchos.
