Hers is a career that was destined to be impressive, but now Chelsea Clinton's huge workload has been claimed to be putting a strain on her marriage.
According to magazine reports, the 31-year-old, who has a new job as a correspondent for NBC, may be putting her work ahead of having children.
While her husband, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, searches for work after a stint skiing in Wyoming, the former President's daughter, it seems, has her head down.
A friend told the National Enquirer that Mr Mezvinsky is hankering after some quality time with his busy wife, who, they say, is putting her career above everything else in her life.
The source told the magazine: 'Marc has to schedule appointments just to see her!'
They added that as her profile was on the up, he was at an all-time low.
As Chelsea's star continues to rise, Marc's self-esteem and confidence has hit a new low,' they continued.
Ms Clinton last week started a new job as a correspondent on NBC Nightly News' 'Making a Difference' and for Brian Williams' Rock Center show.
She will juggle the full-time role alongside studying for a doctorate at New York University.
The Stanford, Oxford and Columbia University graduate also works for the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative and sits on the boards of the School of American Ballet and the IAC.
But in May, Ms Clinton suggested to People.com that she would like a family in the future. Speaking at a pro-gay marriage event, she mentioned the children that 'Marc and [she] hope to have some day.
Her mother, U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, told students in the Philippines last week that she hopes her daughter won't pursue a career in politics, and in March admitted that she would love grandchildren.
Speaking about possibly pressuring her daughter into having babies, the 64-year-old said: 'Well, no pressure, because I don't want to be one of those kinds of mothers.
But obviously, some day, I'd love it.'
Now we know how it all started with her father, the apples never fall far from the tree.
