Police in Queens are searching for an FBI agent's stolen
vehicle containing a military rifle, law enforcement officials said.
The agent's personal car was stolen from 130th Street and
Sutter Avenue in South Ozone Park Tuesday night, according to the officials.
Inside the car was an M4 rifle, believed to be inside a locked box.
Police are canvassing the area for vehicle, a silver 2010
Toyota Camry.
The FBI agent shot a man last July in a similar scenario,
when he allegedly caught the suspect trying to break into his personal vehicle
outside his home, according to the law enforcement officials. The agent was
recently cleared of any wrongdoing by a Queens grand jury.
The FBI is investigating the stolen car along with the NYPD.
