
NEW SQUARE — A 3-year-old Ramapo girl was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital after her leg was injured in an accident with a minibus, town police said.
The child rolled out of her driveway on a toy and her leg became lodged under the rear wheels of the bus, Ramapo police said at 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police were called to Wilson Avenue in New Square on a report of a child struck by a vehicle.
Police found the girl had been struck by the minibus owned by Refuah Health Center. The bus was being driven by Mark Herzog, 38, of New Square.
Hatzoloh Ambulance treated the child at the scene and took her to the hospital.
