Jewish billionaire Mashkevitch: Orgy allegations fabricated


Kazakh-Israeli billionaire entangled in rumored sex scandal aboard legendary Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's yacht says affair concocted by anti-Semitic elements in Ankara




BERLIN – Kazakh-Israeli billionaire Alexander Mashkevitch, who was recently linked to a sex scandal which took place aboard legendary Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's yacht, says anti-Semitic elements in the Turkish government are behind the allegations brought against him.

Mashkevitch, along with some 20 other businessmen and prostitutes, was arrested last week on suspicion of holding in wild orgies aboard the historic vessel

The Kazakh-Israeli billionaire has repeatedly denied his involvement in the scandal.

A Monday statement by the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, which Mashkevitch heads, said that "It is hard to dismiss the feeling that this is an attempt to tarnish the Congress' president's reputation with malicious gossip.

"Naming Israel is some of these (media) reports indicates as to the motives of this campaign. It seems that Mashkevitch, who is a prominent figure in the Jewish world, has become the target of Turkey's anti-Israeli campaign."

The billionaire's associates added that the he has been linked to the scandal so to hinder his efforts to bring Israel's relations with Turkey back to its previous footing, after tensions following May's Gaza-bound flotilla have rendered them more strained than ever.
