A special team investigating bribery allegations against Rabbi Yoshiayu Pinto and his wife gave permission, Thursday, for the couple to leave Israel for medical reasons. The permission, rendered at the Rishon Letzion Magistrates Court, was tied to the Pintos leaving a significant financial bond and committing themselves to appear in Israel for questioning when asked to do so.
The Pintos are suspected of trying to bribe a senior police officer.
