Lindsay Lohan was rushed to the hospital after being involved in a serious car accident Friday, TMZ reported.
The troubled 25-year-old starlet, who has been trying to resuscitate her career by portraying iconic screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime biopic “Liz and Dick,” was reportedly driving her black Porsche along Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica when it collided with an 18 wheeler.
Lohan’s vehicle was “totaled” in the accident, with the passenger window shattered and the rear bumper fully off, according to TMZ.
Though an ambulance was called to the scene, Lohan was reportedly taken to the emergency room in another vehicle.
There’s no official word on Lohan’s condition, though the web site reports she seems to be “ok.”
