Cops are investigating three violent attacks against Orthodox Jews in Midwood, including the mugging of a prominent rabbi, sources said yesterday.
On Sunday, Mendel Bromberg, a rabbi and dean of the Beth Hatalmud Rabbinical College, was robbed of his wallet as he walked home from a wedding along Bay Parkway aat around 10 p.m.
About a half-hour later, two youths attacked an Orthodox Jewish man on Avenue J near East Third Street as he sat in his car.
The assailants covered the victim’s eyes, punched him repeatedly and stole his wallet, cops said.
Two women were also harassed by an unknown man the following Monday evening.
