NYPD Hunts Man Suspected Of Sticking Up Brooklyn Drugstores For Pain Meds

The New York Police Department believes they’ve got a “drugstore cowboy” on their hands.

They’ve released the description of a man they believe is behind a series of robberies. According to the NYPD, the suspect is 6’1″, 220 pounds, white and wears a black Northface jacket.

Police believe he knocked over four Brooklyn pharmacies for drugs. They say the man has the same “m.o.” each time. The man walks into the drugstores, displays a gun and demands pain meds from the clerk at the front desk.

So far, none of the clerks have been injured.

The four incidents took place March 3, March 17, April 1 and April 11. Three of the robberies took place in broad daylight, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. One of the robberies took place at 5:50 p.m.

Anyone with any information about the robberies is asked to call 1-877-577-TIPS (8477). You can also provide tips to www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text them to CRIMES (274637), and then enter TIP577.
