Long Island Doctor Faces Sex Claims: MyFoxNY.com
Three women claim that the Long Beach doctor sexually harassed them for years before he fired them.
Dr. Edward M. Kleiner is an osteopathic physician who owns Beach and Surf Medical in Long Beach.
The women say they were fired in October after refusing to participate in a bizarre artificial insemination procedure.
Shivon Super, of Long Beach, a former office manager, Samantha Romanger, of Inwood, who was an administrative assistant and Lauren Schlanger, of Far Rockaway, a former receptionist are filing civil rights complaints.
They outlined a laundry list of claims at a Monday news conference, from exposing himself to them to even stalking them.
The three women have filed the complaints with the New York State Division of Human Rights alleging gender discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation.
The complaints, detail more than two years of alleged depraved sexual behavior on the part of Dr. Kleiner.
Kleiner allegedly exposed himself to the women, touched the women inappropriately, talked inappropriately to them about sexual matters, discussed the women's physical attributes, sent them lewd texts seeking sexual relationships, offered them drugs and stalked them outside of work, the complaints stated.
The women say the final straw was when they refused the doctor's request for them to watch a couple having sex in an office bathroom, in what was supposed to be an attempt at artificial insemination.
A lawyer for the women claims to have text messages from the doctor that helps their case.
Dr. Kleiner is still practicing and no criminal charges have been filed against him. The women say they plan to take their complaints to the district attorney.
Fox 5 News reported Monday night that it was unsuccessful in reaching Dr. Kleiner for comment.
