David Pichosky and Rochelle Wise Case: Hallandale Beach Police Release Video in Canadian Couple's Murder

Hallandale Beach Police have released a new video they hope will shed some light into the murder of a Canadian couple last month.

The footage shows a woman walking outside the home of David Pichosky and Rochelle Wise the day before the couple was found murdered inside their apartment at the Venetian Park West at 926 Northeast 25th Avenue.

The footage, which was captured by a neighbor's surveillance camera, shows the unidentified woman carrying something to the rear of the residence before returning to the front empty handed, police said.

Police say the bodies of Pichosky, 71, and Wise, 66, were discovered on Jan. 10 when they didn't show up to meet neighbors for lunch.

Authorities haven't said how the couple was killed or what the possible motive could be.

Pichosky and Wise were both retired and still lived in Toronto in the warmer months. Late last month, Hallandale Beach Police traveled to Canada as part of their investigation into the crime.

"Why did they die? That's very crazy. My husband is afraid. I'm afraid too," said France Chouinard, a neighbor.

Police are asking anyone with information on the identity of the woman in the video to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered in the case.

After the murders, Police Chief Dwayne Flournoy, along with detectives, went to Toronto as part of the investigation.

"At this point we are investigating all potential leads. I know we're very confident in the stage of the case of where we are right now," said Capt. Sonia Quinones.
