She’s an equal opportunity offender.
A Queens high-school principal made a host of discriminatory remarks against Jews, blacks and gays — as well as off-color quips about sex and sexual favors among co-workers, city investigators found.
Nancy Casella was forced to retire from Information Technology HS in Long Island City this month after the jarring comments were confirmed by the city Department of Education.
At one meeting in the 2010 school year, Casella shocked assistant principals by blurting, “Whose d--k do I have to suck to get any work done?” the probers say.
The married Casella, 53, also kissed one of her assistant principals on the face and neck and called him her “work husband.”
“Never, ever have I heard her get out of line or conduct herself inappropriately,” he said.
Three more probes by the DOE also found misconduct by Casella, including rigging parent surveys to boost her school’s rating.
An Office of Equal Opportunity report found that, in discussing her hiring practices with an employee, Casella said: “They’ve got it all wrong. They think it’s blacks that I don’t like — it’s Jews.”
Casella told investigators she didn’t recall making that statement but later said it had been sarcastic.
She also allegedly told a subordinate who wanted a position outside the school: “You know they’re only hiring gays. You’re not gay, so [you’re] not getting [the] job.”
And when talking about revoking a subordinate’s parking privileges, Casella said, “If I can’t get that black bastard outta here with parking, I’ll find a way,” the report found.
