MONTICELLO – A two-alarm fire at the Continental Bungalows on Fraser Road near Route 42 in the Monticello fire district Tuesday night destroyed a two-family home.
The structure was unoccupied and there were no reports of injuries.
The fire, said to possibly be electrical in nature, is the third fire in recent days at summer residences in Sullivan County.
On June 15, a large section of the vacant former Aladdin Hotel in Woodbourne went up in flames and just days ago, on June 17 there was a two-alarm fire at Sunshine Estates in Thompsonville that destroyed three-family bungalow.
