Kanye West meets boos at England's Big Chill Festival when he raps 'I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm ... insane, like I'm Hitler.
American rapper Kanye West of Roc-A-Fella Records fame has been known to pull some questionable publicity stunts, (the performer attempted to run Taylor Swift off the stage at the MTV music awards because he thought Beyonce deserved the teen star's award ), but his most recent outburst in which he compares himself to Hitler certainly takes the cake.
West was the closing act at England's Big Chill Festival over the weekend, and according to the LA Times the rapper decided to educate the 40,000-strong audience about the historical figure he identifies with – none other than the Fuhrer.
"I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm ... insane, like I'm Hitler. One day the light will shine through, and one day people will understand everything I ever did."
The rapper was met with boos from the crowd – because even Kanye cannot get away with that.
