The French navy intercepted a vessel linked to Bilal Erdoğan
who’s the son of president of turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan off the coast of
Martinique, seizing nine tons of cocaine in a massive drug bust worth over 3
billion dollars.
In response, the Turkish government has launched a crackdown on the press, arresting multiple journalists within the last 48 hours.
The
arrests come as authorities seek to uncover the source of the leak that
revealed the ship’s ownership, raising concerns over press freedom and
government overreach in Turkey.
