Cory Booker dating Bianca Levin

Bad news ladies: newly elected senator Cory Booker may be taken.

Booker's guarded private life has led many to speculate that he is gay, but according to a report in New York Post's Page Six, the 44-year-old freshman senator from New Jersey is dating Hollywood lawyer Bianca Levin.

'Bianca is a very accomplished woman and has started to accompany Booker to certain events. But both have very demanding jobs - he in DC, and Bianca in Los Angeles,' a source told the Post.

Ms Levin, 36, is a Yale graduate and just as ambitious as her alleged boyfriend.

She made partner at talent firm Gang Tyre Ramer & Brown when she was just 29-years-old. She helped co-host a fundraiser for Booker's senate campaign in June which was held at the Rooftop by Gordan Ramsay in West Hollywood.

Ms Levin personally represents stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and actress Ashley Greene - who she signed before the actress landed her role in Twilight.

In 2011, she was named one of the Hollywood Reporter's fastest-rising stars for her success signing up-and-coming stars.

'People take on entertainment lawyers very early in their careers now, so it's super-competitive,' she told the magazine. 'You've got to always be on the lookout for great talent.'

In an August Washington Post article, Booker expressed his 'great dismay' that he had 'not settled down with a life partner'.

His use of the vague term of 'life partner' and his closely-guarded love life has only fueled speculation that Booker is gay - a rumor the senator has refused to confirm or deny.

'I love seeing on Twitter when someone says I'm gay, and I say, "So what does it matter if I am? So be it. 

I hope you are not voting for me because you are making the presumption that I'm straight,"' he said.

Booker won his senate seat on August 13, and was sworn into office on October 31.
