Flatbush - Four Torahs Saved From Major Fire At Shul

NEW YORK - One firefighter was injured battling a house fire in the Midwood section of Brooklyn.

The fire broke out in the home on East 27th Street just before 10 a.m.

This building has a synagogue on the first floor. The rabbi lives on the upper floor.

Heavy flames shot through the roof.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but the rabbi believed a candle could be the cause.
