Erin Sayer
The mother of a teenager who fessed up to a torrid affair with a teacher at Brooklyn’s James Madison High School made good on her promise Wednesday and sued the city and the instructor.
Maureen Eng, who announced earlier she would be seeking $10 million in damages, claimed in court papers that her son Kevin “had his childhood robbed from him” at the so-called Horndog High.
She identified his seducer as Erin Sayar, an English teacher at the scandalized school.
Kevin was 16 in December, 2011, when he and Sayer had sex eight times in her car and in the classroom, according to the papers.
Sayar, who was 35 at the time, was supposed to be tutoring the 11th grader — but the sessions included her plying the boy with pot she kept in a work file cabinet, court records claim.
“Sayar used the authority and power of her position to place the infant in a vulnerable position, betray his trust and engage in pedophilic conduct with him,” Maureen Eng argues in court papers.
“I love you so much,” he wrote Sayar in one posting.
His jealous girlfriend blew the whistle on the affair after she hacked into his Facebook account and found more steamy messages between the May-December lovers, the papers state.
Eng denied the affair, but confessed when he was confronted with the teacher’s cell phone records, which revealed they exchanged an amazing 3,856 text messages during a span of 17 days.
He also described Sayar’s intimate tattoos.
The suit also names the Department of Education for failing to police the “improper conduct” of its employee.
Sayar, who lives in Park Slope with her husband and toddler daughter, was removed from the classroom and later charged with statutory rape.
The Midwood high school got its nickname in 2009 when two of Sayar’s fellow female teachers were caught in a naked embrace in a classroom. Another female teacher was accused of seducing a male student.
But Sayer’s was the first school sexcapade to result in criminal prosecution.
