Talk about the elephant in the room.
Mindy Meyer — the sassy 22-year-old Orthodox Jew from Brooklyn who’s running for state Senate on an all-pink-all-the-time platform — trotted out a pachyderm last night at her Long Island fund-raiser.
The elephant, sporting a pink ribbon, of course, was there to “represent the Republican Party,” she said.
“I’m humbled by the overwhelming support for my campaign,” the law-school student cooed to the roughly 15 people — including her parents, grandfather and 20-something gal pals — at the dinner at the Inwood Country Club.
Meyer, whom The Post dubbed the “Magenta Yenta,” is trying to unseat Democratic incumbent Kevin Parker.
Cable channel Bravo — which was filming the dinner to include in an episode of its reality show “Chef Roble & Co.’’ — sponsored the event.
Meyer thanked former Mayor Rudy Giuliani — “for inspiring me to enter politics.”
The kooky candidate hinted that, if the politician thing doesn’t work out, show biz is an option.
Asked if she’d like a Bravo show herself, she said, “We’ll see what happens after the election.”
