Susan Powell Father wants police to 'keep looking'

The father of missing Utah mom Susan Powell says he hopes the release of warrants detailing the police investigation into her disappearance will help solve the case, Fox 13 News reports.

Chuck Cox acknowledges that his daughter is likely dead, but says he continues to hope that police will recover her body, Fox 13’s Good Day Utah weekend edition reported.

“I want them to keep looking,” Cox told the station. “I want to look around here, I want to look down there (in Utah). I want to look anywhere where Steve or Josh would have access.

They’ve had two years to move the body. She could be anywhere.”

The warrants were unsealed Friday in connection with the criminal case pending against Steven Powell, Susan’s father-in-law.

They reveal that investigators had found Susan’s blood on the tile floor of the Powell home, and that Susan’s husband, Josh Powell, had her cell phone in a car he rented days after her death.

Josh Powell lost custody of his two sons over the arrest of his father, Steven Powell. On Feb. 5, the younger Powell killed himself and his children, Charlie and Braden, in a house fire and explosion.
